Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

Santa Claus and a few reindeer jiggle to Christmas music during a senior citizen breakfast held at St. Henry High School on Tuesday morning. From left are Santa Willard Speck, Jeanette Osterholt and Ivo Link. Food at the annual event was served by the schools National Honor Society and student council members. Attendees listened to popular Christmas songs performed by students Emily Werling and Hanna Tumbusch, as well as third-and sixth-graders.
