* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Cold wind chill will occur late tonight into Sunday morning.

Odus Marchal
Former rural Portland, Ind., resident Odus A. Marchal, 88, died Dec. 17, 2009, at Persimmon Ridge Healthcare, Portland.
He was born April 23, 1921, in Versailles to Nicholas and Tracy (Barga) Marchal. On June 16, 1945, he married Esther Braun, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Larry (Winifred) Marchal and Mike (Deanna) Marchal, all of Portland; two daughters, Mary Ann Mangen, Amhurst, Wisc., and Theresa (Mike) Baucher, Celina; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two infant sons, Thomas and Donald.
He was a retired Noble Township dairy farmer and worked for the Jay County Highway Department for nine years. He also clerked for Loy's Sale Barn for 15 years and worked at True Value for 13 years, both in Portland. He also trucked grain, livestock, fertilizer and milk. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Portland, since 1950, where he served as an usher, Eucharistic minister and Mass server. He was past president of the Holy Name Society and worked bingo for 32 years. He was a member of the American Legion, Fort Recovery, Salamonia Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, Portland, the Tri-State Gas Engine and Tractor Association and Jay County Fair Board.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Robert Moran officiating. Burial is at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church Cemetery, Bryant, Ind., with military rites conducted by the Fort Recovery American Legion.
Calling is 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Baird Freeman Funeral Home, Portland.
