Hirschfeld spoke about his decision to love her no matter what her disabilities might be in the future. She is now a healthy senior in high school. Three busloads of local residents left the Coldwater church following the send-off event and headed to Washington, D.C., where a rally was set for noon today - the 37th anniversary of the Supreme Court decision on Roe vs. Wade, which legalized abortion.
