Helen Schwieterman, 80, of Coldwater died Feb. 28, 2010, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.

She was born March 24, 1929, in St. Joe, to Aloys and Elizabeth Brockman Steinbrunner. On April 15, 1950, she married Orval Schwieterman, who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Randy (Karen) Schwieterman, Terry (Joann) Schwieterman and Kevin (Belinda) Schwieterman, all of Coldwater; two daughters, Diane (Mike) Stokesberry, Bettendorf, Iowa, and Rebecca (Kerry) Klosterman, Coldwater; a sister, Delores Abels, Coldwater; three sisters-in-law, Teresa Steinbrunner and Juanita Steinbrunner, both of St. Joe, and Eileen Steinbrunner, Marion, Ind.; 13 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Deceased are three brothers, Albert, Carl and Harold Steinbrunner, and a sister, Rosemary Schwieterman.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater.

Calling is at 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
