* WHEN...Until 245 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1146 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Sidney, Anna, Jackson Center, Botkins, Hardin, Port Jefferson, Kettlersville, Swanders, Montra, Maplewood, Mccartyville, Fryburg, Newbern and St. Johns.

John Emrick
John C. Emrick, 80, of Russells Point, died Feb. 3, 2010, at the Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus.
He was born Jan. 10, 1930, in Clayton, to Lester E. and Edna Viola Emrick.
Surviving are four children: Lori (Kent) Taylor, Celina; John (Kerri) Emrick II, Bellefontaine; Scott Emrick, Russells Point, and Claudia (Gary) Davis, DeGraff; a sister, Anna Mae (Leroy) Blumenstock, Brookville; Betty Jane Smith, St. Marys, mother of their children; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Three sisters preceded him in death.
He was a graduate of Chaminade Julienne High School, Dayton, and served with the US Marine corps during the Korean Conflict. A retired tool and die maker, he was a member of the St. Marys of the Woods Catholic Church, Russells Point; a life member of Doyle R. Miller Amvets Post #39 of Lakeview, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He also was a member of the Indian Lake Moose Lodge and Fraternal Order of Eagles, both of Lakeview.
He was active in helping disabled veterans throughout Ohio and built many of the handicap fishing piers along Indian Lake.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. March 20 at the Doyle R. Miller Amvets Post in Lakeview. The Rev. Harold W. Kist will officiate and military rites will be performed by the Amvets Post #39 Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Doyle R. Miller Amvets Post #39, Lakeview.
