Special Weather Statement issued January 14 at 2:54PM EST by NWS Wilmington OH (details ...)
Periods of light snow will occur this evening and through the overnight. While accumulating snow is expected to end before Thursday morning, falling temperatures and light snow accumulations of one to two inches will result in slick travel tonight and early Thursday.
Slick spots can be expected on roadways, especially bridges and overpasses. If traveling, allow for some extra time to reach your destination and be prepared for wintery driving conditions.
In addition to the snowfall, falling temperatures combined with increased winds will result in feels-like temperatures near zero Thursday morning. If heading outdoors, dress in multiple layers.

Spring!
Photo by Mark Pummell/The Daily Standard

These crocus flowers have pushed their way through the mulch in Celina just in time for the first day of spring today. Many other flowers and trees in the Grand Lake area also are awakening after winter. The plants will be getting plenty of spring rains this weekend. Temperatures are expected to be lower today and will climb only into the high 40s Sunday as showers continue.
