Rain will change over to snow showers late this afternoon. While the snow is not expected to accumulate more than one to two tenths of an inch in snow showers, slick spots will be possible this evening and into the overnight hours.

Dorothy Heckman
Dorothy Ann Heckman, 88, formerly of North Hanover Street, Minster, died at 12:43 a.m. March 22, 2010, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Living Community.
She was born June 21, 1921, in St. Marys, to George and Clara Hassan Weadock. On May 25, 1946, she married Vernon "Bud" Heckman, who died April 11, 2006.
Surviving are three children, Christine Warfield, Bexley, Craig (Nancy) Heckman, Osgood, and Clark (Michelle) Heckman, Minster; a sister-in-law, Lillian Weadock, Alexandria, Va.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are 11 brothers and sisters and a grandson.
She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Minster. She also was a member of the Minster Historical Society and a graduate of Piqua Catholic High School. She worked as a clerk at Molly's Dress Shop in Piqua, a secretary at Aero Products in Vandalia and a secretary for Wooden Shoe Brewery in Minster. She also was a formermember of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia of St. Augustine.
Services are 10 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:30 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
Contributions can be made to the Community Health Professionals Hospice.
