N. Edward Leeper
Nelson Edward Leeper, 81, Rossburg, died at 5:15 a.m. April 4, 2010, at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville.
He was born June 10, 1928, in Darke County to Harry Albert and Mabel Christine Fischbach Leeper. On June 25, 1948, he married N. Jean Emig, who survives.
Also surviving are 11 children, Douglas Leeper, Georgia, David Leeper, Rossburg, Dennis (Karlynn) Leeper, Rossburg, Diane (Tom) Jenkins, Greenville, Dane (Linda) Leeper, Ansonia, Darin Leeper, Rossburg, Darrell (Cheryl) Leeper, Georgia, Darwin (Valerie) Leeper, Rossburg, Dwane Leeper, Rossburg, Doreen (Chris) Culy, Winchester, Ind., and Dwight (Kim) Leeper, Rossburg; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Leeper, Rossburg; two sisters, Barbara June Klenke, Cincinnati, and Janet Ellen Shiverdecker, Greenville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Donald; three brothers, Percy Albert, Marvin "Dale" and Minor Eugene Leeper; and two sisters, Twila Bell and Carolyn "Ann" Spahr.
He worked as a farmer and ran a milk transport business for several years.
Services are 10 a.m. Friday at Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, Greenville. Burial is at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
