Celina's Megan Thobe, left, and Lizz Carr run a preliminary race for a hurdle event on the first day of the Western Buckeye League Track Meet on Wednesday at Shawnee High School. Carr has already won one WBL championship with a 5-2 leap in the high jump. Celina's girls have a 20-18 lead over Defiance after the first day of the meet, which resumes on Friday.
