Mary Slorp
Mary A. Slorp, 90, 1001 Myers Road, Celina, died at 5:20 a.m. May 28, 2010, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born June 21, 1919, in Dayton to Jacob and Rosa Jakab Schwartzkopf. In 1933, she married Edward W. Slorp, who died March 2, 1988.
Surviving are a son, Kenny (Lois) Slorp, Celina; a daughter-in-law, Rose Slorp, Punta Gorda, Fla.; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Bill Slorp; a brother, Jake Schwartzkopf; and three sisters, Rose Wachter, Anna Demiter and Irene Jankas.
She worked for Coca-Cola in Florida and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Brenberger officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
