An arctic cold front will move through the area this afternoon and evening, bringing snow showers and much colder air. While accumulations will generally be less than one half inch, quick bursts of snow will result in reductions in visibility and slick conditions at times. Some snow squalls are possible, which could lead to locally difficult travel conditions.

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana and central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 1 AM Monday to 10 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

James Johnson
James Virgil Johnson, 69, Coldwater, died July 4, 2010, in Coldwater.
He was born Feb. 17, 1941, in Fort Recovery, to Floyd and Eva Wright Johnson. His mother survives in Seaman; his father is deceased. On April 24, 1965, he married Connie Boley, who survives in Coldwater.
Also surviving are two children, Brett (Angie) Johnson, Columbus, and Heather (Kelly) Houston, Cornelius, N.C.; a brother, Dick (Gladys) Johnson, Greenville; two sisters, Janice (Adonis) Maxwell, Crestview, Fla., and Jeanne (John) Horn, West Union; a sister-in-law, Polly (Dick) Berkenstock, Coldwater; a brother-in-law, John Boley, Simpsonville, S.C.; and four grandchildren.
He was a member of the Erastus United Methodist Church in Erastus and the Masonic Lodge in Fort Recovery. He also was a member of the Air Force National Guard.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are being handled by Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
