Arden Fennig
Coldwater native Arden Everrett Fennig, 93, Tucson, Ariz., died April 29, 2010, at Tucson Heart Hospital.
He was born Jan. 24, 1917, in Mercer County to Karl and Elizabeth Fennig.
He married Louise Kennedy, who died in 1985. He then married Viola Petering, who died in 1999.
He is survived by a brother and a daughter.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister and a son.
He graduated from Washington Township High School in 1934. He served in World War II. He worked as a finish carpenter for Habitat for Humanity and as an autobody repairman.
He was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Tucson, where a memorial service was held May 8.
There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Coldwater, the Rev. Bruce Bair officiating. A lunch will follow at the church.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's or Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Tucson.
