The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

At 519 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Waynesfield, moving northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Alger, Waynesfield, Roundhead, Mcguffey, Silver Creek, Jumbo, New Hampshire, Walton, and State Route 195 at State Route 235.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.

Dale Sharp
Dale E. Sharp, 69, Minster, died July 18, 2010, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was born April 7, 1941, in Minster, to Daryl and Virginia Carter Sharp. On Oct. 13, 1962, he married Shirley Schoen, who survives in Minster.
Also surviving are three sons, Shawn (Deb) Sharp, Tom (Tina) Sharp, all of Minster, and James (Bridget) Sharp, Troy; two sisters, Phyllis Kennedy, Tallahassee, Fla., and Jane Donovan, Hilliard; a sister-in-law, Patty Sharp, New Bremen; and seven grandchildren.
Deceased is an infant sister, Kathy; a brother, Jon; and two brothers-in-law, Jack Kennedy and Richard Donovan.
He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in New Bremen. He also was a 4-H adviser with Minster Livestock for 27 years. He was a machinist at Minster Machine Company for 40 years, and following retirement, he was an associate at Walmart in Sidney for eight years.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Becky Erb Strang officiating. Burial is at the St. Augustine Cemetery in Minster.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-9:30 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
Memorials can be made to the Minster Area Life Squad and the Auglaize County 4-H Committee.
