Snowfall of at least an inch is expected across the region, with up to 2 inches possible. There is also the potential for brief intense bursts of snow, especially between 10 PM and 3 AM. Where these brief bursts of snow occur, visibility may drop suddenly, creating additional travel hazards tonight.
West winds will become northwest overnight, gusting as high as 30 to even 35 mph. This may cause blowing snow over roadways, even as the snow ends after 3 AM.

Youths bearing casserole dishes and Crock pots came to the Auglaize County Fairgrounds on Tuesday for prefair judging in various food categories. Karly Richard of Minster samples some of her Chili Con Carne following her turn at the judging tables. Richard, a member of Minster Livestock 4-H Club, is competing for the first time at the fair, which begins Sunday and runs through Aug. 7.
