ST. HENRY - A 10-year-old St. Henry boy died Thursday evening after becoming stuck inside a grain wagon full of corn on the family farm.
Nicholas "Nick" Franck was rushed to Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, about 6 p.m. and pronounced dead shortly after his arrival. [More]
Wooden Shoe beer returns to Minster

MINSTER - Andy Phlipot listened to the gurgle of beer during the brewing process and grinned from ear to ear. The sound was music to his ears after five years of planning and working to turn a dream into reality.
The Wooden Shoe Brewing Company is once more part of this Auglaize County community with an open house scheduled the first weekend in October. [More]

VAN WERT - The Celina volleyball team took their perfect Western Buckeye League record on the road Thursday night and the Bulldogs were never threatened by undermanned Van Wert.
CELINA - The Celina boys soccer team knew that it was facing a big challenge on Thursday as the Bulldogs faced Western Buckeye League leader Shawnee, a team that has given up just one goal the whole season.
