At 716 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Spencerville to near Rockford to 10 miles northwest of Celina, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, Rockford, Mendon, Buckland, Montezuma, Chattanooga, Kossuth, Tama, Neptune, State Route 116 at State Route 197, and Bulkhead.

At 646 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Van Wert to near Monroe, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Lightning can cause serious injury or death. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Rockford, Mendon, Chattanooga, and Tama.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.

David Metz
David F. Metz, 79, St. Marys, died at 8:07 p.m. Nov. 2, 2010, at the Golden-Valley Nursing Home in St. Marys.
He was born Dec. 16, 1930, in New Bremen, to Ernest and Marie Wehrman Metz. On April 11, 1959, he married Dorla Sharlene Graham, who died Oct. 12, 2006.
Surviving are a daughter, Denise (David) Locke, Moorseburg, Tenn.; a son, Dana (Renee) Metz, Gilbert, Ariz.; a sister, Carolyn (Merle) Schuller, St. Marys; a sister-in-law, Kay Graham, Spencerville; and two grandsons.
Also deceased are two brothers, Don and Ned Metz; and sister, Lois Ann Esser.
He was a 1948 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School in St. Marys. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean War. He retired as a union electrician. He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ in St. Marys.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home Chapel in St. Marys, the Rev. Jeanette Tangeman officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens in St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
