Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off into tonight.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset and beyond as temperatures drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Adam Hanna guilty of burglary, intimidation

Heavy security was in place Friday morning in Mercer County Common Pleas Court for the sentencing of a 28-year-old Celina man guilty of burglary and intimidation.
Adam M. Hanna, a former West Fayette Street resident, showed no emotion when Judge Jeffrey Ingraham imposed eight years in prison and turned down a request for a 48-hour furlough before immediate transfer to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections (ODRC). [More]
