* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Lee Slife
Lee Irvin Slife, 83, Celina, died at 4:20 a.m. Jan. 4, 2011, at the Celina Manor Nursing Home in Celina.
He was born April 13, 1927, in Dayton to Louis Andrew and Helen Lee Slife. On May 19, 1945, he married Doris Nell Justis, who died April 19, 2004.
Surviving is a son, Bernard (Sylvia) Slife, Celina; a daughter, Betty Lennartz, Celina; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He graduated from Kiser High School in 1944. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked for the Dayton Police Department for 30 years as a patrolman until he retired in 1978. He was a member of the Celina First Presbyterian Church. He also was past president of the Fraternal Order of Police OH044 Capt. John C. Post Lodge 44 in Dayton, trustee of the Celina American Legion Post 210 and member of the Masonic Lodge 0147 F&AM and Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Dave Dennis officiating. Burial is at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
