Dorothy Harlamert
Dorothy Catherine Harlamert, 91, Coldwater, at 11:30 p.m. Jan. 26, 2011, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
She was born Jan. 16, 1920, in Coldwater, to John R. and Ade Grieshop Gast. On Dec. 14, 1940, she married Ralph Harlamert, who died July 21, 2007.
Surviving are four children, Carole (Jerry) Mestemaker, Sidney, Jinny (John) Schwieterman, St. Henry, Joe (Renea) Harlamert, Coldwater, and Dan (Carol) Harlamert, Coldwater; a daughter-in-law, Johanna (Charles) Koesters, Coldwater; a sister, Mildred Newman, Dayton; a sister-in-law, Rosella Gast, Coldwater; a brother-in-law, Dale (Mary) Harlamert, Sidney; 17 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
Also deceased is a son, Larry Harlamert; two brothers, Harold Gast and Oliver Gast; a brother-in-law, Lamar Newman; and a grandchild.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality and the American Legion Auxiliary, all of Coldwater. She worked at the former Gast Plumbing and Heating in Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
