* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 104 possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of excessive heat and humidity combined with very warm low temperatures can be especially hazardous as the overnight hours provide little relief from the heat. The heat may continue into Wednesday.

Clarence Myers
Clarence Wesley "Wes" Myers, 86, of Cridersville, died at 4:43 a.m. Feb. 3, 2011, at the Lima Memorial Hospital emergency room.
He was born Dec. 4, 1924, in Allen County, to Clarence Wesley Sr. and Anna Margaret Laeufer Myers. On Sept. 1, 1945, he married Vera L. Stemen, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Michael Dean (Jane) Myers, Redand, Calif.; a daughter, Marilyn Jean (Dale) Strouse, Cottage Grove, Wis.; a brother, Ned E. (Janice) Myers, Cridersville; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was co-owner of Myers Hardware in Celina and Cridersville and fire chief in Cridersville from 1963 to 1967. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and graduated in 1942 from Lima South High School.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, the Rev. Lynn Huffman officiating. The cremated remains will be buried at a later date at Shawnee Cemetery.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
