Periods of light snow will occur this evening and through the overnight. While accumulating snow is expected to end before Thursday morning, falling temperatures and light snow accumulations of one to two inches will result in slick travel tonight and early Thursday.
Slick spots can be expected on roadways, especially bridges and overpasses. If traveling, allow for some extra time to reach your destination and be prepared for wintery driving conditions.
In addition to the snowfall, falling temperatures combined with increased winds will result in feels-like temperatures near zero Thursday morning. If heading outdoors, dress in multiple layers.

Kevin Niemeyer
Kevin W. Niemeyer, 54, of St. Marys and formerly of Celina, died at 11:04 a.m. Feb. 8, 2011, at his home in St. Marys.
He was born Sept. 1, 1956, in Celina, to Paul and Marilyn Peak Niemeyer. On Jan. 20, 1979, he married Judy Jerome, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Stacy (Larry) Regedanz, Celina, Jill Braun, St. Marys, and Leslie (Gary Jr.) James, St. Marys; a brother, Dave (Jan) Niemeyer, Troy; two sisters, Annie (Russ) Siler, West Milton, and Judy (George) Muether, Celina; and six grandchildren.
Deceased is a son-in-law, Charley Walter.
He graduated from Celina High School in 1974. He worked for the Huffy Celina Plant for 20 years. He was also a self-employed brick layer. He also worked as a maintenance supervisor at the Celina Manor Nursing Home. He was a member of the St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Kim Miller officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the Grand Lake Hospice.
