James Brown
James L. Brown, 66, St. Marys, died March 21, 2011, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born Oct. 12, 1944, in Lima, to Walter and Bernice Putman Brown. On July 25, 1981, he married Cheryl Ann Long, who survives.
Also surviving is a sister, Ruth Grandstaff, Wapakoneta.
Deceased are two brothers, Walter Brown Jr. and John Brown; and father and mother-in-law, Charles and Mary Elizabeth Long.
He was a 1962 graduate of Spencerville High School. He was a veteran of the Navy and served during the Vietnam era. He worked as a truck driver for Norris Milk Hauling Company in Wapakoneta.
Services are 7 p.m. Thursday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home in St. Marys. A military honors tribute will follow the service at the funeral home.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
