* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

Carolyn Jean VanArsdel
Carolyn Jean VanArsdel, 86, formerly of Celina, died April 3, 2011, at the Indiana Masonic Home of Franklin, Ind.
She was born July 8, 1924, to Gold and Thelma Beall. On Jan. 29, 1945, she married Thomas P. VanArsdel, who is deceased.
Surviving are three sons: Thomas P. VanArsdel Jr., Franklin, Ind., Peter R. (Michelle) VanArsdel, Celina, and Richard E. VanArsdel, Bloomington, Ind., a daughter, Sue (Greg) Giesige, Celina, a sister, Eleanor, Washington, a brother, Fredrick, Texas, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Kathryn Jean, and a sister, Retta.
She was a graduate of Purdue University and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. She was a past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Private services will be held at the Indiana Masonic Home.
