An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing.
Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning.
The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.

Wayne Meyer
Wayne P. Meyer, 51, Minster, died at 10:55 a.m. on April 5, 2011, at his home following a battle with cancer.
He was born April 16, 1959, in Dayton, to Kenneth and Alvera Broerman Meyer. On June 8, 1978, he married Annette Morsey, who survives in Minster.
Also surviving are his children: Angela Meyer, Columbus, Anthony Meyer, Columbus, Kathryn (Keith) Muhlenkamp, Troy, Denise Meyer, Perrysburg; a sister, Lois "Jean" Mescher, Sidney; a brother, Kenneth (Ginger) Meyer, Piqua; a brother-in-law, Edward O'Meara, Dayton; a sister-in-law, Mary Kinsella.
Deceased are his parents; a stepfather, Walter Arling; a sister, Barbara O'Meara; and a brother-in-law William Mescher.
He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, a former member of the Van Buren Township Fire Department and the Minster-Jackson Township Fire Department, and a member of Minster Eagles Lodge 1391.
He worked at Synerlink USA.
Funeral Mass is 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-9 p.m. Friday and 8:30-9:15 Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
Memorials may be made to Wilson Hospice or The Ohio State University James Cancer Research.
