Mildred Heitkamp
Mildred C. Heitkamp, 87, Cassella, died at 6:30 a.m. May 8, 2011, at the Gardens at St. Henry.
She was born Aug. 19, 1923, in Minster to Roman and Eleanora Schemmel Heitkamp.
Surviving are three brothers, Albert Heitkamp, Rockford, Robert (Charlene) Heitkamp, Cassella, and James (Barbara) Heitkamp, Piqua; a sister, Janet Stevens, Lompoc, Calif.; and a sister-in-law, Rosemary Heitkamp, New Bremen.
Deceased are two brothers, Paul and Joseph Heitkamp; a sister, Rogene Brown; a sister-in-law, Connie Heitkamp; and two brothers-in-law, Tom Stevens and Russell Brown.
She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Cassella, the church Ladies Sodality, the Catholic Knights in Cassella and the former Catholic Foresters Club.
She was retired from Buckeye Apparel, Coldwater, and had assisted people with home care following her retirement.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Tom Brenberger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
