Charles Knapke
Charles J. Knapke, 59, Garden Grove, Calif., died at 5:15 p.m. May 8, 2011, at his brother's residence in St. Henry.
He was born July 30, 1951, in Coldwater to Carl J. and Marie Bruggeman Knapke. His father is deceased; his mother survives in St. Henry.
Also surviving are, a son, Kevin Knapke, Deltona, Fla.; and siblings, Linda (Chris) Onkst, Greenville, Connie Flaska, Sidney, Jim Knapke, Coldwater, Jeff Knapke, Ponca City, Okla., and Tim (Deb) Knapke, St. Henry.
He was vice president of data operations at Hobby People in California and was a member of Sierra Club.
A memorial Mass is 10:30 a.m. May 17 at St. Henry Catholic Church, the Rev. Tom Hemm officiating. His cremains will be returned to California where there will also be a memorial service.
