Marie Hegemier
Marie H. Hegemier, 69, Sidney, died at 5:40 p.m. May 21, 2011, at her home.
She was born Aug. 11, 1941, in Decatur, Ind., to Kenneth and Ruth Holle Ohler.
Surviving are four children, Steve (Kimberly) Fortney, Yukon, Okla., Ruth (Theodore) Henry, Wapakoneta, Jerry (Danielle) Tangeman, Janice Hegemier, Brooklyn, N.Y.; a sister, Marlene Fast, Ohio City; a brother, Melvin Ohler, Ardmore, Tenn.; and nine grandchildren.
Deceased are her parents; a sister, Mary Schnitz; and three infant children.
A 1958 graduate of Pleasant Mills High School, she retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, St. Marys. She also worked at the former Chief Supermarket in St. Marys.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, St. Marys.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Bill Maki officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, where memorials may be directed to Wilson Memorial Hospice.
