William Preston
William D. "Bill" Preston, 69, Celina, died at 11:05 a.m. June 10, 2011, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born on July 5, 1941, in London, Conn., to Harold and Lillian Merrill Preston. On July 12, 1975, he married Audrey Stickney, who survives.
Also surviving are his children, Andrew Preston and Julia Henderson, both of Celina; sisters, Kathy (Mike) Martin, Abby Preston and Norma Preston, all of Connecticut; a brother, Richard Preston, Connecticut; and five grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister-in-law, Ellen Preston.
A member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Celina, he retired as a civilian contractor for the Submarine Manufacturing Company at the Shipyard in Connecticut.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. John Exman officiating.
Calling is one hour before services at the church.
