Joan Feldhake
Joan C. Feldhake, 95, Coldwater, died at 2 a.m. July 9, 2011, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born Jan. 21, 1916, in Sebastian to Frank and Elizabeth Klosterman Niekamp. On Nov. 25, 1937, she married Carl C. Feldhake, who died July 2, 2000.
Surviving are two daughters, Kay (Jim) Prybylski, West Port, Conn., and Barbara (Roger) Hulett, Columbus; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Joyce; and seven siblings, Josephine Osterholt, Olive Homan, Charles, Roman, Albert, Florian and Alfred Niekamp.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, its St. Ann Ladies Sodality and its choir for more than 55 years. She was a hospital volunteer and a homemaker.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
