During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Samantha Jo Pettit Burk
Samantha Jo Pettit Burk, 15 months, died July 15, 2011.
She was born April 5, 2010, to Shawn M. Burk of Celina, and Julie Pettit of Waverly, who survive.
Also surviving are grandparents, Jerry and Veronica Burk and a great-grandmother, Jovetta Burk.
Deceased are paternal great-grandparents, Charles and Joyce Ward and Donald Burk.
Services were held July 20, 2011, at Cox Funeral Home, Beaver, Ohio, Dee Cantrell officiating. Burial took place at Pennestein Cemetery.
A memorial service is 3 p.m. Sunday at New Start Church of God, Celina, the Rev. Ron Hagaman officiating.
