Rita J. Diller
Rita J. Diller, 79, Coldwater, died Aug. 05, 2011, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
She was born May 3, 1932, in St. Marys, to Edward and Rose Hemmelgarn Ruther. On May 29, 1954, she married Donald J. Diller, who died May 1, 2001.
Surviving are three children, Kenneth Diller, Indianapolis, Ind., Christine (James) Grilliot, Bremen, and Cathy (Tony) Puthoff, Philothea; three sisters, Mary Ellen Harmon, Murphysboro, Tenn., Kathleen Telljohn, Kenton, and Virginia Spees, Cridersville; and three grandchildren.
Also deceased are a son, Kevin Diller; a brother, Edward Ruther; and seven in-laws, the Rev. Harold Diller, Zeno Diller, the Rev. Otto Diller, Walter Diller, Sr. Mary Adela Diller, Adela Diller and Ethel Boeckman.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and its St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality, St. Cecilia-St. John, Coldwater, and was a volunteer at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at the church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
Memorials may be made to Community Hospital Volunteers.
