During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Frederick Gilleo
Frederick R. Gilleo, 80, Oakland, Mich., died Aug. 20, 2011, at his daughter's Celina home, following an extended illness.
He was born Jan. 2, 1931, in Detroit to Glen and Anna Larkin Gilleo. In 1984, he married Nancy Podeski, who died in October 2009.
Surviving are four children, Pam (Jerry) Fleck, Doug (Cindy) Gilleo, Willis Gilleo and Gene (Lisa) Gilleo, all of Celina; two sisters, Alma Gilleo and Helen Chandler, both of Michigan; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are siblings, Gene Gilleo, Caroline Robbins and Margaret Freeman.
He retired at age 70 from a Carbide Plant in Michigan after 38 years service. He was a seven-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and had been stationed in Alaska.
Service is 6 p.m. Tuesday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Mendon, the Rev. Don Clinger officiating.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
