* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Emily Gephart
Emily M. Gephart, 84, Newport, died Sept. 15, 2011, at Elmwood of New Bremen.
She was born June 26, 1927, in Russia to Felix and Margaret Voisard Monnier. On Nov. 25, 1977, she married John A. Gephart Sr., who died April 2, 2007.
Surviving are two stepsons, John Jr. (Starr) Gephart and Jerrold (Linda) Gephart, both of Newport; a sister, Loretta Bergman, Minster; two sisters-in-law, Thelma Monnier, Piqua, and Joyce (Francis) Goubeaux, Russia; a brother-in-law, Bernard Selanders, Houston; three stepgrandchildren and nine stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Leah Schwartz; and five brothers, Floyd, Cyril, Virgil, Lester and Delbert Monnier.
She was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Newport, and served the church as a Sister of the Precious Blood from 1947 to 1972, teaching business courses in various places. She retired from Russia Local Schools in 1987 and was a member of the retired teachers of Shelby County. She also retired in 1997 as secretary/bookkeeper at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Sidney. She volunteered for Wilson Hospice.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Newport church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
Contributions can be made to Wilson Hospice or The Maria Stein Center (Sisters of the Precious Blood).
