CELINA - Fort Recovery's Jared Kahlig weathered the wet conditions on Saturday at The Fox's Den and captured medalist honors with a 3-over 75 to win the 2011 Midwest Athletic Conference boys' golf tournament.
With a cold rain greeting the players as they took off from their shotgun start, Kahlig was able to battle through after starting on hole 16. [More]

CELINA - Minster made it a clean sweep in the Midwest Athletic Conference girls' golf race after bringing home the tournament title on Saturday at The Fox's Den in Celina to go along with an unblemished regular-season mark.
After starting in rainy conditions that gave way to some sun late in the day, the Wildcats shot a 378, which was 22 shots better than runner-up Versailles. [More]
