Mary Margaret Ramsey
Mary Margaret Ramsey, 99, St. Marys, died at 11:56 p.m. Nov. 10, 2011, at St. Marys Living Center, where she had been a resident for the past two years.
She was born Aug. 1, 1912, in Auglaize County, to Charles F. and Clara Rohrbach Teeters. On April 24, 1935, she married Walter "Pete" Ramsey, who died Feb. 17, 1977.
Surviving are two daughters, Joan (David) Paul, New Bremen, Mary (John) Holtzapple, St. Marys; a son, Walter (Sue) Ramsey Jr., Belleville; a sister-in-law, Jean Ramsey, Bloomdale; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Ramsey; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Donna Jean Ramsey; a son, Theodore Ramsey; a sister, Mildred Teeters; five brothers, Charles, Aldon, Lawrence, Franklin and Robert Teeters; and a grandson.
She was a 1930 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys, and a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys , and its women's guild. She worked at Vanderhorst Canning Factory, St. Marys, and cleaned homes.
Services are 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Ed Bray officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be directed to the church.
