Southerly winds will increase today ahead of an approaching cold front. Sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph can be expected with gusts of 35 to 45 mph at times this afternoon. Be sure to secure outdoor objects.

The Ohio Historical Society is seeking an estimate to repair cracks in the Fort Recovery Monument. The monument was completed in 1913 for $23,700. Underneath the base of the monument are the remains of people killed under the commands of Arthur St. Clair and Anthony Wayne.
