Frank Engle, 51, Dayton, died Nov. 28, 2011.

He was born June 16, 1960, in Mendon. His father and stepmother, Benjamin and Betty Engle, survive in Celina. His mother, Janice Severns Engle, is deceased. On Feb. 14, 1998, he married Katherine Messer, who survives.

Also surviving are sons, Justin (Brittany) Engle and William (Stephanie) Engle, all of Dayton; siblings, Linda Sue Engle, New Lebanon, and Curtis Engle, Benjamin Todd (Angie) Engle and Trent (Julie) Engle, all of Dayton; stepbrothers, Craig (Brenda) McDermitt, St. Marys, Mike McDermitt, New Bremen, and John (Sally) McDermitt, Celina; sister and brother in-law, LaVerna and Ron Bryant, Hillsboro; and three grandchildren.

Also deceased are a brother, Richard Engle, and stepsister, Deanna McDermitt Slone.

He was employed by Sugarcreek Packing in the water treatment plant for five years.

Service is 10 a.m. Saturday at Newcomer Funeral Home, Dayton. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina, the Rev. Johnny Mobley officiating at the graveside.

Calling is 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
