* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 421 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area, with numerous roads remaining closed due to high water. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

Melvin Evers
Melvin J. Evers, 79, Fort Recovery, died Jan. 30, 2012, at Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Feb. 25, 1932, in Fort Recovery to Stephen and Agnes Fiely Evers. On May 16, 1953, he married Mary Voskuhl, who survives.
Also surviving are children, Mike (Mary) Evers, Marion (Jayma) Evers, Marvin Evers and Martin (Heather) Evers, all of Fort Recovery, Marilyn (Ernest) Wendel, St. Henry, Madonna Evers, Edmonton, Ky., Mary Agnes (Chris) Moorman, St. Henry, Martha (Scott) Trobridge, Fort Recovery, and Margaret "Peg" (Gary) Lange, St. Henry; siblings, Paul (Rogene) Evers, St. Marys, Eugene (Ann) Evers, St. Henry, Joan (Ernest) Wenning, New Bremen, and Eileen (George) Delzeith, St. Henry; 22 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Norma Wenning, and three grandchildren.
He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Wendelin and Tri-State Tractor & Gas Engine Association. He was employed by Les Wenning Ford, Fort Recovery Equity and Hull Brothers, all of Fort Recovery. He was a retired farmer.
Service is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Benedict Magabe officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:45 a.m. Friday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
