Mildred Botkin
Former St. Marys resident Mildred A. Botkin, 93, died at 7:45 a.m. Jan. 31, 2012, at her daughter's residence in Xenia.
She was born Aug. 5, 1918, in Rockford to John and Frances Witter Alspaugh. On June 11, 1946, she married Charles Botkin, who died Sept. 21, 2010.
Surviving are a daughter, Jean Rupert, Xenia, and five grandchildren.
Deceased are sisters, Marjorie Alspaugh and Ruth Buchanan.
She was a graduate of Rockford High School, a homemaker and a member of the former First Presbyterian Church, St. Marys. She was a charter member of Precious Moments Collectors' Club.
Service is 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of Miami Valley.
