A $200,000 shoreline protection project has started at Harmon's Landing on Grand Lake and should wrap up next week. Riprap is being placed to lessen erosion and protect a natural wetland there, said state park manager Brian Miller. Money for the work is part of the $2 million in state capital funds leveraged last year by Sen. Keith Faber, R-Celina, to help restore water quality in the lake.
