* WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

Alice Poeppelman
Alice J. Poeppelman, 83, Minster, died at 11:37 p.m. Feb. 27, 2012, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster.
She was born Dec. 12, 1928, in Minster to George and Olivia Kleinhenz Thieman. On Nov. 6, 1948, she married Urban F. Poeppelman, who died March 27, 1969.
Surviving are four children, David (Lucy) Poeppelman, Ottawa, Melvin (Lynne) Poeppelman, Bellevue, Marilyn Poeppelman, Minster, Gary (Lisa) Poeppelman, Osgood; three siblings, Edna Frierott, Minster, Harold (Betty Jane) Thieman, Minster, and Betty (Myrle) Vallo, Kettering; a sister-in-law, Clarissa Thieman, Minster; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two siblings, Roger Thieman and Hilda Wehrman.
She was a farm wife and secretary at the former St. Charles Seminary and with Green Thumb Job Opportunities. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Osgood American Auxiliary, Minster Eagles and C.L.C., Fort Loramie.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will follow at St. Martin Cemetery, Osgood.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:30 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
