Liberty Filio
Former Celina resident Liberty G. Filio, 94, Cincinnati, died Feb. 15, 2012.
She was born in Hendersonville, N.C., on Dec. 11, 1917, to George and Mary Gianakos. On July 27, 1940, she married Theodore Filio, who is deceased.
Surviving are two children, Valerie (Philip) Carlquist and Paul S. Filio, and four grandchildren.
She had resided in Celina for more than 27 years.
The will be no service.
Her remains will be interred beside her husband, her mother, mother-in-law, Amelia, and sister, Athena, at Sugar Creek Church of the Brethern, Sugar Creek Cemetery, Lima.
