Patricia Tripponi
Patricia Tripponi, 43, died March 17, 2012, in Barcelona, Spain.
She was born April 19, 1968, in Dayton, to Mercer County natives Virgil and Marilyn Sturwold Gaerke. She married Mario Tripponi, who is deceased.
Surviving are five siblings, Virgil Gaerke, Melinda (Mike) Greer, Carol (Steve) Webb, Joyce (Matt) Leyes, and Deborah (Doug) Smith.
Deceased are her parents and two brothers, Alvin Gaerke and Calvin Gaerke.
A graduate of Vandalia Butler High School, she was a former model and had lived in many international cities. She and her husband owned and operated a restaurant in Port Balis, El Italiano.
A memorial Mass is 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Christopher Catholic Church, Vandalia, the Rev. Francis Keferl officiating.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to ALS Association.
