Barbara Weber
Barbara A. Weber, 72, Celina, died at 8 p.m. March 27, 2012, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born Oct. 2, 1939, in Celina, to Franklin Eugene "Buzz" Sr. and Rita Clara Mary Fischer Wise. She married Robert "Chico" Weber, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Jill (Hiro) Tanaka, Austin, Texas; four siblings, Mary Jane "Jane" Wilkins, Celina, Elizabeth "Becky" (Robert "Doc") Wimmers, Carol Stream, Ill., Judith "Judy" Dixon, Arlington, and James "Jim" (Annie) Wise, Akron; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Wise, Troy, and Brenda Wise, Plano, Texas; and three grandsons.
Deceased are two brothers, Franklin "Skip" Wise and Michael Wise.
A 1957 graduate of Immaculate Conception School, Celina, she had been employed by Mersman Brothers and the Huffy Corporation for 25 years.
She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church, where she served on the contemporary service altar guild, participated in Lady Circles, the WOW Program, the prayer chain, dinner preparations and servings and church plantings.
She was a 40-year blood donor and volunteer for the American Red Cross.
She donated her body to science at The Ohio State University. Private family services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
