An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing.
Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning.
The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.

Mary Louise Stienecker
Mary Louise Stienecker, 77, St. Marys, died at 2:30 p.m. April 17, 2012, at St. Marys Living Center.
She was born Oct. 6, 1934, in St. Marys, to Willard H. and Vivian C. Fischer Stienecker.
Surviving are two sisters, Margaret (Jerry) Baucher, Celina, and Karen (Robert) Wisenborn, Celina; and a sister-in-law, Norma Jean Stienecker, Montezuma.
Deceased is a brother, Willard Stienecker.
A 1952 graduate of Memorial High School, she graduated in 1956 from St. Rita's School of Nursing, Lima. She worked as an RN at the VA Hospital in Dayton, Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, and had also worked for George McIlroy, M.D., Celina.
She also worked at Totalcare Nursing Home, Celina, and retired from Wapak Manor Nursing Home.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys, and served as chairperson of the Zoning Board of Appeals, St. Marys.
Service is 11 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Ed Bray officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 9-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
