Douglas S. "Esh" Eshelman, 51, died at 9:54 a.m. April 24, 2012, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born Jan. 14, 1961, in Natrona Heights, Pa., to Ronald L. and Judith E. Hill Eshelman. His mother survives in Cabot, Pa. On June 28, 2002, he married Belinda J. Bowling, who survives in Van Wert.

Also surviving are a daughter, April Stefanik, Leechburg, Pa; two stepchildren, Trish Burtch, Chattanooga, and Brad (Justina) High, Mendon; two brothers, Jeffry L. Eshelman, Cincinnati, and Curtis A. (Gail) Eshelman, Natrona Heights, Pa.; and a grandchild.

He had worked at Vanamatic, Delphos. He was a member of Wetzel Motorcycle Club and Van Wert Moose Lodge.

Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. Burial will follow in Mendon Cemetery.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
