John E. Zumbrink
John E. Zumbrink, 67, Elijah-York Road, North Star, died Monday, May 21, 2012, at his home.
He was born Nov. 30, 1944, in Celina, to the late August and Mary (McClurg) Zumbrink.
He is survived by his fiancee, Phyllis Krieg, and a brother, James (Diana) Zumbrink.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the North Star American Legion, the Versailles Eagles and a life member of the Darke County Farmers Union. He was a member of St. Louis Church, North Star; Knights of Columbus, Versailles; and St. Gaspar Del Bufalo 4th degree Knights of Columbus, Minster.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry, and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at St. Louis Church, North Star.
