The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Rose Keith
Rose E. Keith, 93, 231 S. Main St., St. Marys, died at 4:39 p.m. June 3, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born April 9, 1919, in Lily, Ky., to George and Mary Hoskins Thompson. In 1953 she married Elmer Keith, who died April 9, 1978.
Surviving are three daughters, Irene (Ernie) Tuttle, Middletown, Cheryl (David) Simms, St. Marys, and Vivian June Keith, St. Marys; a step-daughter, Marie Douglass, Toledo; a step-son, William Keith, Toledo; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Martha Chaney, St. Marys; and two sisters-in-law, Alice Thompson, Findlay, and Lizzy Thompson, Corbin, Ky.
Deceased are infant twin sons, Ronny and Donny Thompson; two step-daughters, Verla Geller and Donna Miller; a step-son, Wayne Keith; a granddaughter; three sisters, Minnie Thompson, Maudie Caldwell and Dora Markley; and six brothers, Willie, Herb, Dan, Clyde, Charles and Cliff Thompson.
She was a homemaker and had been employed by the Auglaize County Council on Aging.
Funeral rites are noon Wednesday at Miller Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Ronnie Bruce officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
