* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Larry Longsworth
Former Auglaize County Sheriff Larry R. Longsworth, 62, of Wapakoneta, died at 12:55 a.m. June 11, 2012, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.
He was born Feb. 18, 1950, in Mercer County, to Robert and Bernice Nuss Longsworth. His father survives in Wapakoneta.
Also surviving are his wife of 40 years, Janice Haehn Longsworth; a son, Aaron (Alicia) Longsworth; a daughter, Missy (Casey) Crisp; two brothers, Dennis (Gayla) Longsworth and Gary (Paula) Longsworth; and two grandchildren.
Longsworth served 31 years in law enforcement with the last 16 years as sheriff.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, earning three Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. A 1968 graduate of Wapakoneta High School, he was a member of Wapakoneta Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8445, American Legion Post 330, Moulton Gun Club, Amvets Post 333 and the Buckeye State Sheriff's Association.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta, with Pastor Joy Miller, Auglaize County Sheriff Al Solomon and Deputy James Wachauf officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta.
Calling is 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
