During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Parkway closes out building project

ROCKFORD - Parkway Local Schools has received more than $1 million in leftover funds from the school construction project completed in 2006.

ST. MARYS - The Celina Bulldogs' ACME baseball team took two different routes, but they were able to come up with the same results, victories, as they swept St. Marys in a doubleheader on Tuesday night at K.C. Geiger Park.
The Bulldogs scored seven runs in the first two innings and rolled to a 12-1 five-inning run-rule win in the opener. In the nightcap, Celina gave up three early runs but were able to right the ship behind the relief pitching of Cody Vogel to capture a 5-4 win. [More]
